Rates are for 25/26 lines/page (extra $.05 for 28 lines/page).
Monday through Friday are considered business days.
Jobs received after 3 pm CST are considered received at 8 am the next business day.
I am a self-employed independent contractor.
Very short transcripts, i.e., affidavit of non-appearance, et cetera, incur a minimum charge of $8.00.
Standard Turnaround ≥ 48 hrs

Expedited Turnaround ~ 12-48 hrs

12 – 48 hours to complete job
ASAP Turnaround < 12 hrs

“Messy” Files (As-Is Condition)

Because proofreading is the last step before final revision,
any transcript still in its rough state which requires corrections
to 70% or more of its pages will incur additional fees as follows:
- 70-74% of pages requiring corrections incur an additional $.10 charge per page.
- 75-84% of pages requiring corrections incur an additional $.15 charge per page.
- 85-89% of pages requiring corrections incur an additional $.20 charge per page.
- 90-100% of pages requiring corrections, transcript will incur double the rate otherwise charged.
In order to keep your costs down, please be sure your job is carefully scoped before sending for proofing.
Technical/Medical Content
I reserve the right to charge an additional $.15 per page for heavy technical content.
Usually, there is no additional charge for medical transcripts as I have a background in
medical administration; however, in the event a medical transcript is inordinately complex, I do reserve the right to charge an additional $.15 per page.

Payment Policies
Standard Billing for Established Clients
Invoices are sent via PayPal (email) every other Friday
Payment is due within 15 days
$10 per week late fee
New Client Billing (applies to first job)
Minimum of half of the estimated fee must be paid IN ADVANCE via PayPal.
Remainder of actual fee must be paid prior to delivery of finished job.
(Regretfully, due to slow/no pay by previous new or one-off clients, these policies were put into place and are effective immediately. Once a job has been completed under these conditions, you may be converted to established client status with standard billing.)
PDF Proofing
I proof .pdf files and return only those pages with errors noted on them unless you specify otherwise. No need to dig through your whole transcript to find the corrections or flip back and forth between your file and an errata sheet. All edits are clearly marked and, of course, you have the final word. If you don’t agree with a certain edit or suggestion, simply disregard it and move on to the next.
